MISSING MIDDLES

In order to create a truly spectacular middle that will match the superlative standard set by the great beginning and glorious ending that already exist, I will not be submitting an entry to the FenCon Short Fiction Contest*.


* i.e. There are too few hours left to write and accomplish tasks that must be done and said tasks (e.g. laundry, packing for a convention, day job) are, unfortunately, of a higher priority than writing. Joyful be the time in my life when such is not the case.
