NOVEMBER PAST

I have no excuse other than I am alive, and therefore things happen to me that are beyond my control. For you updating pleasure, I present the following:

1. My NaNoWriMo count was near 2000 words a day for the first 10 days. It would likely have continued that way were it not for point #2.

2. My home, which I dearly love, requires interior foundation work. Living on a concrete slab means the digging of 15 twelve-inch diameter holes, each nine feet deep, throughout the house. This requires the packing and removal of everything I own, including furniture, into the garage. All the joys of moving without going anywhere new, as it were.

3. In order accomplish point #2, NaNoWriMo fell by the wayside. I tried to go back and pick it up around Thanksgiving, however it had already accumulated too much dust and as I sat beside it, a lonely tumbleweed rolled by and we said farewell to each other. The resurrection ceremony is planned for sometime after the new year.
