A BEGINNING

Started a new short story today. I've had the first line for several weeks, but was unable to advance any further. Today, after sitting down before my keyboard and letting the fingers type of their own accord, I have accomplished a significant beginning.

The ending is a vague doughy mass that needs kneading. The middle is non-existent, but that seems to be a common occurrence with my writings so far. I shall endeavor to pound the ending into shape and conjure a middle before the end of the week.
